Cookies

Our web site uses the Ubuntu Linux operating system, Apache2 web server, the WSGI gateway interface and the Web2py application framework.
A cookie is a text-only string of information that a website transfers to the cookie file of the browser on your computer's hard disk so that the website can remember who you are.
Our technology uses cookies to remember your session identifier when you leave our website so that when you return you don't need to log in again. The cookie used by Web2py is session_id_init. This cookie records a unique identifier that relates to your session. It records the session that you set up when you last logged in and reuses your credentials when you next access the site. It lasts 30 days if you check the "Remember me (for 30 days)" check box.
There is also a cookie that remembers your organisation code so when you visit the businessstorymanager.com or sp.qa websites the 'Go to my BSM' or 'Go to my SP.QA' links take you directly to your instance of the application. This cookie is called myapplication. Since you are unlikely to change your application name, this cookie lasts for 365 days.
If you click through to other sites from ours, you may receive a cookie from a linked site or one of our business partners. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those other sites.
When you leave our site we encourage you to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.
